Term: 2 years, renewable for 2 more years

Responsibilities:

• Preside over all Council and Executive Board meetings and serve as ex-officio member of all committees of the County 4-H Council - Executive Board meets six times a year, alternating months with the County Council, which meets six times a year as well.
• Provide the meeting agenda and facilitate meeting discussion
  • Talk to members of executive board and council representatives to find out what needs to be discussed
  • List items on agenda in appropriate order
  • Make copies of agenda for all attendees

• Appoint chairpersons to committees as needed
• Appoint the Review Board and Nominating Committee
• Act as the public liaison for the Santa Clara County 4-H Council
