The Administrative Assistant 3 will provide administrative and program support to the UC Sustainable Agriculture Research & Education Program (UC SAREP), under the direction of the UC SAREP Director and the UC SAREP Administrative Officer. Duties include assisting with purchasing, procurement, and travel reports; scheduling, managing mailing lists, and data management; preparing reports, online surveys, and agendas; and maintaining communication between UC SAREP and the UC ANR Business Operations Center. The Administrative Assistant 3 will join a dedicated team of academics and staff working across California to promote sustainable agriculture through research and education. This position will support the UC SAREP Director in coordinating activities and communication across related units of UC SAREP including the Small Farms Network, Master Food Preservers, and the Food and Society and Agriculture and Environment units.
This position is a career appointment that is 100% fixed.
The home department for this position is SAREP. While this position normally is based at 2801 2nd Street in Davis, CA, this position is eligible for hybrid flexible work arrangements, for applicants living in the State of California, at this time. Please note that hybrid flexible work arrangements are subject to change by the University.
Pay Scale: $27.34/hour to $32.84/hour
